A key value of the Mimecaster Central community is providing an open platform for our customers to collaborate to get the most from your Mimecast services. But of course this is not the only way we look to enable that. On that point, I recently hosted an online roundtable discussion with a couple of Mimecast customers - Michael Franusiak of the Widewaters Group and Michael Towner of Matrix Services Company. In this roundtable we primarily talked about internal email threats and how they use the Mimecast Targeted Threat Protection - Internal Email Protect to help address these threats. In the discussion we hit on many topics, including credential harvesting attacks, wire transfer fraud, social engineering, business partner spoofing, real-time remediation, awareness training, profanity in email, the use of email forwarding rules, and even FBI investigations! If you aren't already using Internal Email Protect as part of your Mimecast service, this online roundtable is available for you to hear directly from your peers regarding Why and How they use it.
