If working with Mimecast Support on an Mimecast for Outlook issue, you may be required to send in the log files for the Mimecast for Outlook client. Log files contain useful information on the communications between Mimecast for Outlook and the Mimecast service. These can be used to troubleshoot potential issues with Mimecast for Outlook.
The log files are called "msw-serviceYYYMMDD" - where YYYMMDD is the year, month, and day the file was created. The files are located in one of the following locations:
