Mimecast provides detailed reports on Stationery statistics. For example on the number of:

  • Stationery Layouts sent
  • Clicks that were generated through the Stationery Layouts.

 

Reports for stationery usage and click action activity are useful to gauge the success of a Stationery Layout. Layout components that are never clicked could be replaced with others that might be more successful. Maybe even entire Stationery Layouts can be modified to promote the organization further.

 

There are two types of stationery reports:

  • Statistics Report
  • Performance Report

 

Stationery Layouts can also be used for basic surveys, and even promotions, with tracking through the Performance reports or Stationery Statistical reports.

 

Statistics Report

 

The statistical reports allow Administrators to create reports based on who sent or received the emails over periods of time. The reports are customizable, allowing Administrators to generate specific reports based on a set of options.

 

To access the Stationery Statistics Report:

  1. Log in to the Administration Console.
  2. Click on the Administration toolbar button. A menu drop down is displayed.
  3. Click on the Stationery | Reports menu. The following fields are displayed:

    FieldDescription
    Stationery RoutingSelect the email routing, based on the Sender or Recipient email addresses or domain names.
    Date FiltersFilter the date range that the report will cover.
    Show StatisticsThis option limits the report data to Items Sent, Items Clicked, or Items Sent and Clicked.
    Component LevelThe most common reporting view for Stationery Statistics is the Stationery Component view. This view segments Sent or Clicked data by Stationery item, and then by Stationery component. Alternatively, the report can also be set to display Image Components only.
  4. If required, select the Export Data button to export the list items into a spreadsheet for further analysis.

 

Performance Report

 

Performance reporting allows the user view the usage and click activity on Adcon for specific layouts. The performance report also shows detailed information on which email addresses layout was used for and the click activity for each recipient.

 

To access the Stationery Performance Report:

  1. Log in to the Administration Console.
  2. Click on the Administration toolbar button. A menu drop down is displayed.
  3. Click on the Stationery | Performance menu. The following fields are displayed:

    FieldDescription
    StationeryThe name of the Stationery Layout.
    ComponentThe name of the component in the Stationery Layout.
    SentThe number of recipients to which the Stationery Layout was sent.
    ClickedThe number of clicks on that Stationery component.
  4. Select a component in the list to display a breakdown of it's details including the:
    • FROM and TO addresses
    • Date and time when the component was sent and / or clicked.
  5. If required, select the Export Data button to export the list items into a spreadsheet for further analysis.
