This article describes how to block a specified sender or domain as well as how to report spam to the Mimecast Security Team. The difference between the two actions is as follows:
Blocking a Sender's Address or Domain
To block a sender's address or domain:
- Click on the required message.
- Right click the Contact. A menu is presented.
- Click on either the:
- Block Sender menu item.
- Block Domain menu item.
Reporting a Message as Spam / Phishing
To report a message as spam / phishing:
- Whilst viewing the email you wish to report as spam, Click on the Report Spam icon from the main menu.
- Select the Report to submit the spam report.
