Application Settings definitions control the behavior of Mimecast end user applications and the level of user access to Mimecast services. If a user is denied access to Mimecast Mobile operating systems (e.g. Blackberry, iOS, Android, and Windows Phone), it means application settings in the definition have not been enabled correctly for the user account. This guide outlines the steps to resolve the issue.




To ensure the user has access to Mimecast Mobile, consider the following:

  1. Application Settings definitions can be created to meet the specific access needs of users. This requires a group to have been created, which can be made up of individual users or entire domains. Check the internal domains of the user account to determine the correct group settings are applied to the definition. View the Managing Groups page for more information.
