Adding Social Media links into stationery will help make the email recipients aware of the senders social media sites. For example, a Twitter Feed or Facebook page.

Social media links are added to stationery using the images and actions features associated with the layouts. These can be added using the normal layout steps.

  1. Create an image component for each social media link. The Mimecast platform has the images for the most common social media sites built into the solution.
  2. For each social media link create a click action adding the link for each site. Ensure that the web link for the specific page/feed is added.
  3. In the layout ensure that there is an image component for each social media using the <MC type=clickimage> HTML tag.
  4. Using the layout manager for each social media clickimage associate the appropriate action and image.

In the plain text version of the stationery, click images are not supported so these links cannot be added.
