The Basics: Report Abuse

Should you come across content in Mimecaster Center that violates Mimecaster Center's Terms and Conditions, you're encouraged to report it as abuse and submit through moderation. When content is sent through moderation, it is immediately removed from view on the community and the Community Manager, and other moderators, receive a notification to review the post. Next, the Community Manager reviews the content and determines whether the content is:

  • Approved and posted
  • Rejected and deleted
  • Approved with edits

On all content and individual comments and replies, you'll find: Report Abuse.

Full Content

To submit the full piece of content, such as a question, for moderation, click Report Abuse under Actions. Upon clicking Report Abuse, you'll be asked to identify the type of spam and provided the option to enter a note and share additional details with the Community Manager.

Individual Reply or Comment

To submit only a reply or comment posted to a piece of content, click Report Abuse within that reply or comment. Upon clicking Report Abuse, you'll be asked to identify the type of spam and an option to enter a note or share additional details with the Community Manager.

If five pieces of content, including full content and replies and comments, are reported for moderation, all future content for that user will require moderation by the Community Manager before being posted to the community.
