This article outlines how Smart Tags may be browsed by end-users.


Applies to:

  • End-users of Mimecast Personal Portal v3.
  • Where Smart Tags are available to the user.



our Administrator can configure Mimecast to archive your files along with your emails.  If enabled, files from your My Documents folders and Network Shared Drives repositories will be available within Mimecast Personal Portal.  These files will be available in a separate view in Mimecast Personal Portal, and are accessible from any of the user tools.


  1. Select the Smart Tags icon from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select the required Smart Tag from the list.
  3. Browse the Smart Tag as you would Online Inbox.
  4. You can search a Smart Tag using the Quick Search options at the top of the message list.
