This article outlines the steps required to enable and installation logging. Installation logs may be requested when troubleshooting an issue with Mimecast Support.
- Mimecast for Outlook.
- Start a CMD prompt.
- Run the following command where:
- "PATH TO INSTALLER" is the full path to the MSI file
- install.log is the filename and location of the log you would like to output
msiexec -i "PATH TO INSTALLER" -l*v install.log
- Logging will be enabled for the duration of the install.
