This is resolved in Mimecast for Outlook v7.0 R1 onwards
It has been identified that users may experience Mimecast for Outlook not responding to the spacebar as expected.

When inputting text into fields, users may not be able to add spaces. This happens when the focus of Microsoft Outlook is on the Reading Pane. To reproduce this issue:
In Microsoft Outlook put the focus in the Reading Pane by selecting it.
- Open the Mimecast for Outlook view.
Start typing and try using the space bar. No spaces are added to the text box.
Remove focus from the Reading Pane in order to work again in the Feedback window
In Microsoft Outlook, ensure that the focus is not on the Reading Pane. For example, select a message from your message list.
