Reseller Portal: Changing Your Password or Security Question

When your account is setup, you are assigned a temporary password to use the first time you log in. Part of the initial log in process asks you to provide a new password to use going forward. You can also change this password at any time.

 

Additionally a security question is added to your account either by you or your administrator. This is used should you need to change your password, to verify your identity. You can also change this, or the answer to it, at any time.

 

Changing Your Password

 

To change your password:

  1. Click on your Account Profile in the toolbar.
  2. Click on the My Account menu item.
  3. Click on the Change Password button.
  4. Complete the Account Information section as follows:

    Field / OptionDescription
    Old PasswordSpecify your current password.
    New Password

    Enter a new password in both fields.

    The password's requirements are displayed above the Account Information section of the dialog.

    Confirm Password
  5. Click on the Change Password button.

 

Changing Your Security Question

 

To change your security question:

  1. Click on your Account Profile in the toolbar.
  2. Click on the My Account menu item.
  3. Click on the Change Security Question button.
  4. Complete the New Question Details section as follows:

    Field / OptionDescription
    New QuestionEnter a question that you'll remember (e.g. "What is your Mother's maiden name?").
    New Answer

    Enter the answer to the question. This field is not case sensitive.

    Be careful to enter this answer correctly, as an incorrect answer could result in delays resetting your password.

  5. Enter your Password.
  6. Click on the Submit button. The security question is changed and a confirmation dialog displayed.
  7. Click on the Return button.
