This guide describes how messages from a null sender address (e.g. a postmaster@mydomain.com) can be captured by a gateway policy.

  • Administrators responsible for managing gateway polices.

 

Walkthrough

 

Null addresses are considered as internal addresses in Mimecast.

 

<> is the default postmaster envelope address used by Mimecast and most other mail systems. As the address could indicate the internal postmaster, any policy you use to catch all inbound mail should be set as follows:
