Mimecast Personal Portal: Monitoring Sent Items

This guide describes how end users can retrieve information relating a message's delivery. This enables them to confirm a message has been successfully delivered.

To identify the delivery status of a message:

  1. Log on to the Mimecast Personal Portal.
  2. Click on the Mailboxes icon.
  3. Click on your Sent Items folder.
  4. Click on the required message. The message is displayed.
  5. Click on the Delivery Receipts Status drop down.

    Send Notification

    This displays delivery information for each of the message's recipients. This can be accessed by one of the icons mentioned below:

    Delivery Status More IconClick on this icon to displays the delivery receipt status for the recipient. Click on the OK button to close the dialog.

    This icon indicates the message has been successfully delivered to the recipient's mail server. Hover over the icon to display additional information (e.g. delivery method).

    This doesn't guarantee delivery to the user. It only indicates that the message has been accepted by their mail server.
