Content Examination policies provide prevention against data leaks by scanning messages for content. If the content is found, an action you define is triggered.

To protect your data, we don't want to document how our Content Examination functionality works for all to see. Whilst we do make some information available publicly, some is only available if you're a Mimecast customer. Where this is the case, you're required to log on to Mimecaster Central to access the content. Where there are links below where this is the case, a "- Protected Link" suffix has been added.
