This guide provides advice on how to resolve an issue where users of Mimecast for Mac are unable to send file attachments via Large File Send.

Some users of Mimecast for Mac may be unable to send a file attachment via Large File Send. Where this is the case, check for the error messages below in their log file:
To resolve the issue:
- Open the Mimecast for Mac application on the end user's machine with the Command and Option keys (CMD + ALT) held down.
- An alert asking to "Reset Message Databases" is displayed.
- Accept the alert.
