This guide describes how administrators can access detailed information about a campaign after it has been scheduled.

 

Accessing a Campaign's Detail

 

The campaign detail displays different information depending on whether the start date has been launched. The status also controls what you can do with the detail displayed.

 

To access a campaign's detail:

  1. Display your Module Queue.
  2. Click on the Manage button to the right of the campaign.
  3. Click on the Campaign Name in the listing.

 

Launched Campaigns

Active Campaigns

 

With a campaign that isn't active (i.e the start date has been reached) you can:

  • Display the campaign's performance statistics. A percentage value is displayed of the number of:

    • Targeted users who've completed the module.
    • Correct responses to the employee question.
  • Compare the campaign's performance statistics against other campaigns based on the same module.
  • Change the email sent to users to introduce the campaign. See the "Changing a Campaign's Introductory Email" section below for full details.
  • Upload your own custom content to the campaign. See the "Uploading Custom Content" section below for full details.
  • View the animated GIF files displayed for correct and incorrect answers to the employee question. See the "Viewing / Changing Animated GIFs" section below for full details.
  • Export the campaign's targeted user list. See the "Exporting the Targeted User List" section below for full details.
  • Display the campaign's employee question, and it's correct answer.
  • Play the campaign video.

 

Inactive Campaigns

 

Scheduled CampaignWith a campaign that hasn't started (i.e the start date is in the future) you can:

  • Change the campaign's start date. See the "Changing a Campaign's Start Date" section below for full details.

  • Change the campaign's target group. See the "Changing a Campaign's Target Group" section below for full details.
  • Change the email introducing the campaign. See the "Changing a Campaign's Introductory Email" section below for full details.
  • Upload additional content to the campaign. See the "Uploading Custom Content" section below for full details.
  • Change the animated GIF files displayed for correct and incorrect answers to the employee question. See the "Viewing / Changing Animated GIFs" section below for full details.
  • Export the campaign's targeted user list. See the "Exporting the Targeted User List" section below for full details.
  • Display the campaign's employee question, and it's correct answer.
  • Preview the campaign as seen by the end user. See the "Previewing a Campaign" section below for full details.

 

Changing a Campaign's Start Date

 

If a campaign hasn't started yet, you can change it's start date:

  1. Click on the Manage Schedule link. A calendar is displayed with the current start date selected.
  2. Select a new Start Date.
  3. Click on the Continue button.

 

Changing a Campaign's Target Group

 

If a campaign hasn't started yet, you can change it's target group:

  1. Click on the Change Group link. A dialog is displayed with the current group selected in a drop down.
  2. Select a new Group.
  3. Click on the Update button.

 

Changing a Campaign's Introductory Email

 

You can change the campaign's introductory email text sent to users. If the campaign has already started, any changes made only affects emails sent to new users. 

 

To change a campaign's introductory email:

  1. Either click on the:
    • View / Edit Email button in a launched campaign.
    • Customize Email link in a scheduled campaign.
  2. Click on the Edit button. The email is displayed in a text editor.
  3. Change the email as required.
    The email must contain the [platformlink] variable to link to the required module. If this isn't present, you'll be unable to complete this step.
  4. Click on the Update button.
  5. Click on the Close button.
When editing an email, the Reset to Default button can be used reset the text back to it's default state.

Uploading Custom Content

 

You can upload additional content to form part of a campaign. This requires you to have a PDF file ready to upload, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. If a campaign has started, only users who've yet to see the tutorial will see this content.

 

To upload your custom content:

  1. Either click on the:
    • Upload button in the "Custom Content" section of a launched campaign.
    • Upload Additional Content link in a scheduled campaign.
  2. Click on the Upload File button.
  3. Viewing / Deleting custom contentDrag and drop the PDF into the Upload File dialog. A preview of the content is displayed.
  4. Click on the Accept button to add the custom content page.

 

Once the custom content has been added you can perform the following from the campaign summary:

  • View the custom content file by clicking on the View File link.
  • Delete the custom content file by clicking on the Delete File link.

 

Viewing / Changing Animated GIFS

 

If a campaign has started, you can view the animated GIFs displayed following an employee answers the post tutorial question. If the campaign hasn't yet started, you can change the GIFs used.

 

To view the animated GIFs on a campaign that has already started:

  1. Click on the View button in the "GIFs" section of the campaign summary.

 

To view or change the animated GIFs on a campaign that has yet to start:

  1. Click on the Edit GIFs button in the "GIFs" section of the campaign summary.
  2. Specify the Image URLs to use for both the correct and incorrect responses.
  3. Click on the Update button.

    Clicking on the Reset button returns the values of both the correct and incorrect URLs to their default values. 

Exporting the Targeted User List

 

You can export the list of users that form part of the campaign to an Microsoft Excel file. The file contains all the data columns set up in your employee list, including an custom fields.

 

You can filter the columns displayed in the campaign summary, but this doesn't affect the data columns exported.

  1. Click on the Columns button.
  2. Select / deselect the Columns to display.
  3. Click on the Columns button again to return to the listing.

 

To export the targeted user list:

  1.  Click on the Export button.

 

A file is downloaded to your browser's download location called "tccampaign_<accountname>_<campaignname>.xlsx where:

  •  <accountname> is your Ataata account name
  • <campaignname> is the name of the campaign.

 

For example, if your account is called "Mimecast" and the campaign is called "HIPPAA for Finance", the file would be called "tccampaign_mimecast_hippaaforfinance.xlsx"

 

Previewing a Campaign

 

If a campaign hasn't started, you can preview it from the end user's perspective. It leads you through all the steps including any custom content that has been added. Once you've completed all the steps, the preview ends and you're returned to the campaign summary.

 

To preview a campaign:

  1. Click on the Preview User Experience link.
