I was looking for a summary of the mimecast configuration steps someone would take when migrating from an on-premise exchange to Office 365. I'm sure there is variation between versions of exchange, office and the mimecast services used. I would think this migration would not uncommon, but I don't see a summary of things that would need to be reconfigured and setup.
Does anyone with expertise in this have a summary of things that would need to be done in order to provide a smooth transition? Also, the timing of the steps in relation to the migration would be helpful to know as well.
We have a very small firm using exchange 2007 and although I am not too concerned about migrating to office 365, I have some concerns about my mimecast configuration making things more complicated.
