I have Outlook 7 and my outlook rules stopped working after Mimecast was set up on my system.

By Outlook 7, do you mean Outlook 2007?
It would be helpful to understand which version of Mimecast for Outlook you have installed. The Mimecast for Outlook: Checking for Updates article has a section which outlines how you can find this out.
Your IT administrators may be able to assist in troubleshooting this on your behalf. I've not heard of Mimecast for Outlook interfering with generic Outlook rules in any way. Your IT Administrators will have contact points within Mimecast Service Delivery should they need to escalate a support case.

They have not been able to help me, that is why I am reaching out. I’ve been reading on the internet and others have this problem but no one had a solution.
The screenshot doesn't appear to have attached, are able to write the first two numbers? For example. 6.3.xxxx.xxxx.
Is the IT resource that was involved in troubleshooting your issue able to log in and engage here? They will be best placed to investigate this issue as we are likely to advise checking logs and disabling other add-ins etc. This does not sound like an issue with Mimecast for Outlook itself, but without additional technical information we would not be able to say for certain.
The only similar thread I can find its: Outlook rules stop processing after journaling setup of Mimecast on Office 365 which was resolved through service delivery and is not an issue with the Mimecast for Outlook client. Please free to post a link t other information you have found and I'll pick it from the moderation queue.
Having your IT resource jump onto this thread is the best approach here, you're likely to need administrator access to your machine.
