A Discussion behaves like a blog: share a tactical use case, best practice, or cybersecurity trend.
- Select a Category to organize your discussion
- Choose a Discussion Title that grabs the attention of Community Members
- The Body of the Discussion explains your use case and Community Members can ask questions by posting a comment. Attach files or add screenshots to enhance your Discussion.
- Choose a Tag to further organize and make your discussion easier to find via search.
- Interact with the discussion to show it is content you value
- Use a Comment to participate, share your thoughts, and expand the discussion.
- If you post a Discussion and receive comments, please respond to these comments and collaborate with other Community Members.
Ask a Question
A Discussion shares knowledge: Asking a Question tells Mimecast Community members you are seeking answers and asking for responses.
- Select a Category to organize your question.
- Choose a Question that summarizes your issue and tells Community Members you are seeking their help.
- Use the body of the Question to clearly communicate your issue and what assistance you are seeking. Attach files or add screenshots to enhance your Question.
- Community Members: if you see a new question and know the answer or have the same question, join the discussion by posting a comment or interacting with the question.
- Ask a clarifying question
- Let others know you have the same question.
- Share your solution or best practice
- If you are the original poster and receive answers from Community Members, please indicate an answer that helped you by accepting it with a Yes: this makes solutions easy for all members to find.
- An accepted answer will be flagged as the Best Answer which will be pinned to the top of the comment list so other Community Members can easily find it.
