About the Technical Certification Program
The Mimecast Technical Certification program is an industry-standard in excellence that will help validate your level of skill and knowledge of specific Mimecast products and services. The program is designed to enhance your professional credibility by providing quantifiable proof of skills and knowledge. The exams focus on the practical application of knowledge of Mimecast solutions required by specific roles.
Email Security, Cloud Gateway Fundamentals Certification
The purpose of this certification is to ensure those completing it:
- Understand the fundamentals of navigating and configuring the Mimecast Email Security, CG platform.
- Understand which policies are available to you by default, what they are used for and how they are configured.
- Understand how to utilize the Mimecast platform to keep email flowing even when primary messaging systems are unavailable using our Continuity services.
- Understand how to access account analytics, and reporting, and how to configure service alerts and notifications.
Certification Requirements
There are 50 questions, and you have 60 minutes to complete all the questions.
- You will have 2 attempts at this exam.
- You will be required to answer every question.
- You will not be able to submit the exam until all questions have been answered.
- You cannot save the test and resume it in another session.
You must achieve a minimum of 80% to successfully pass this exam. If you fail the exam the first time, you will only have one more attempt before you will have a mandatory waiting period of 24 hours, at that time you can retest.
Suggested Training and Documentation
To supplement your learning in preparation for the exam, we recommend attending our live instructor-led training sessions. The training can be accessed as live instructor-led courses but are also available as self-paced recordings in Mimecast University.
