You can access the MSP / Reseller Portal from either the:

  • MSP / Reseller Portal URL
  • Mimecast website

 

Accessing the Portal via a URL

Log In

 

To access the portal via a URL:

  1. Entering the https://portal.mimecast.com/Partner/account/login.aspx URL into your browser. The Log In dialog is displayed.
  2. Enter your Username.
  3. Click the Next button. Two additional fields are displayed.
  4. Select the Authentication Method you are using from the drop down menu.
  5. Enter your Password.
  6. Click the Log In Button.

 

Accessing the Portal via the Mimecast Website

Login From Website
To access the portal via the website:

  1. Entering the http://mimecast.com/ URL into your browser.
  2. Click on the Login button.
  3. Click on the Partner Portal tab.
  4. Click on the Access Partner Portal button. The log in dialog is displayed.
  5. Enter your Username.
  6. Click the Next button. Two additional fields are displayed.
  7. Select the Authentication Method you are using from the drop down menu.
  8. Enter your Password.
  9. Click the Log In Button.

 

Username / Password Issues

 

Your username cannot be changed once it has been created. If you can't remember your username, contact your IT Administrator. They can advise you of the correct username value.

 

Your password can be changed, but how depends on the type of password authentication you use. The password authentication types are:

  • Domain: This method of authentication uses your domain password. If you have issues with this, contact your IT Administrator.
  • Cloud: This method of authentication uses a cloud password, which can be changed if your administrator has enabled this functionality. If you need to reset your cloud password, you can request a reset code. This is sent to you, and must be used as described below to authenticate that it is you that has requested the reset.

 

To reset your cloud password:

  1. Click on the Trouble Logging In? link below the Password field. The Password Reset dialog is displayed.

  2. Enter your Email Address and click on the Next button.
  3. Enter the Captcha text and click on the Next button.
  4. Select the method by which you'd like to receive your password reset code and click on the Next button.
  5. Enter the Code sent to you and click on the Next button.
  6. Enter and confirm a new Cloud Password and click on the Next button.
  7. Click on the Return Me to the Log In Page link and try logging in again.
