Lately, we've been hit with some whaling attempts that have gotten past Mimecast. The attempts are sloppy enough to slip right past impersonation detection as they don't include anything in their message that would trigger the filter. They didn't disguise the address or attempt to make it look like our domain. The envelope, reply-to, and header…(Show moreShow less)
Ok, to give you a head start these are the domains currently in my 'Impersonation Watch Domains' profile group, built over the last six months or so from incoming Whaling attacks. Obviously Google and Hotmail will give you more of a false positive headache but unfortunately that's where they tend come from, you could always have a separate bypass…
We are a new customer to Mimecast and have just turned on the Digest (That was the first obstacle for our company) I am really wanting to turn on the URLProtection (I have it on for my team) for an added layer of protection. Has anyone had a chance to write up some documentation that they did for their users. I am looking for a document to use as…(Show moreShow less)
Hey Jamie, We fought the same battle with attachment protection and eventually gave up. Now we just preemptive sandbox everything so the users just get their e-mail on a small delay. There has only been one person in the company that has noticed.
I recently received an email in celebration of National Puppy Day from a member of a chamber group to which I belong. The sender had selected a group not knowing I was listed in the group. The email clamed to have pictures of puppies so I opened the pictures and they were not puppies and very offensive. The attachments were indeed pictures…(Show moreShow less)

Hello Benjamin Scott-Warwick Did you ever get a response for this? I found a way to collect this using the Exchange Server Profile Analyzer. If you already got this squared away Good on you! Thank you,

It…(Show moreShow less)
I was not one to really take note of the keyboard or gave much thought to the lay out until my current Gig and I inherited a Logitech G710! This is a nice Keyboard and I did not realize how nice until some of the buttons started to fail and stopped working, yet to the credit if Logitech they are sending me a bran new Keyboard!!!! I find it astonishing just how different keyboards can be. You take them for granted at your peril. Which one you go for depends on so many use case factors. For example do you: Need access to additional non-standard programmable functions (e.g. opening / controlling apps). Use keyboard shortcuts over the mouse. Use the numeric keypad section a…
Hello Mimecasters , I have been getting a Jive login error and it will take three to 5 attempts to get in my portal. I have no issues with my online email or the Administrative login or Mimecast for Office.
Hmmmm...will keep an eye on this. Last week I heard from practically everyone internally and in the community, and haven't heard anything just yet (and wasn't able to replicate like I did last week). In the meantime, try a full cache refresh to clear out any Jive ghosts from last week
